Title: Myddle / Middle Monumental Inscriptions
Post by: heathers on Friday 22 March 19 11:43 GMT (UK)
Does anyone have access to the Monumental Inscriptions for Myddle / Middle ?
I am looking for the Horsman / Horseman family.  James Horseman was Rector from 1829 - till his death in 1844.  His wife Harriett died in 1841.  Hopefully they will have a memorial.  I am also curious as to whether any of their children are named.

If you can acces FindMyPast (often free in Libraries) there are several death notices for him in their Newspaper section. They all state that he was the Rictor of Middle in Shropshire, not Worcestershire. His brother John was also a Vicar and died a short time after James.

From what I can glean on line there is an MI in Middle for the name Horseman but I cannot find any other details. Shropshire FHS apparently have a booklet listing MIs, perhaps they may be able to help you, though it may well cost.

Apologies - I have been looking at his son's marriage, which was in Worcestershire,  and got the wrong board.  I'll repost on Shropshire
