Hi all,
Newbie here and enjoying the detective work.
Trying to trace the origins and death of John Cornelius who married Mary Constable on 5/4/1733 in St Lawrence, Ramsgate, Kent.
Can't find where he was born or who to. Or where he died. Possibly born in Salehurst, Sussex in 1711 to John and Elizabeth but not sure. Also may have died in Westwell, Kent in 1760 but also not sure.
Many thanks for any help!

There is this baptism, but it's only a possibility:
Name John Cornelias
Residence Place Canterbury, Kent, England
Gender Male
Christening Date 14 Oct 1705
Christening Place St. George, Canterbury, Kent, England
Father's Name Thomas Cornelias
Given the place of the marriage, would this not be a possible burial?
Name John Cornlius
Event Type Burial
Event Date 24 Nov 1789
Event Place St Laurence in Thanet, Kent, England, United Kingdom
Event Place St Lawrence in Thanet, St Lawrence, Kent
Age 85

Thanks Bev. Where did you find these two records? Can you please send me links?
I'm on findmypast if that helps.
Do you think it would be feasible that John would have married at 18?

If he married in 1733, he would have been 27/28, not 18. :)
I found these records on good old FamilySearch.
