Based on the 1901 census the house was adjacent to Upper House in Llanwern.

This map shows Ty-Uchaf (Upper House) and Ty-Canol (Lower House) Middle House) but I can't see Lower House marked.   The adjacent Ty-mawr is Big House    https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/side-by-side/#zoom=18&lat=51.9487&lon=-3.3089&layers=168&right=BingHyb
