Title: George henry Girling
Post by: theolddear on Friday 29 March 19 19:13 GMT (UK)
Looking for any info. On George henry Girling.  He was born in Dereham Norfolk about 1836 and in the census of 1841 he was listed as a nurse child.  He was baptised in 1844 and at the age of 15 was an apprentice shoemaker.  I would love to be able to find his apprenticeship record.  Have tried various ways but so far have come up blank.  Can anybody help please.

Hi,
I couldn't find any apprenticeship records on Anc..y of the type you're after. There are several trees and records for this George h Girling of East Dereham there.
Do you have his marriage certificate in 1858 and 1861 census? Or are you just confining your search for his apprenticeship records ?

I see you're looking for any info.

Alan

Who were his parents on the 1844 baptismal record?
