I'd take a look at this chap. He's in Kerry in 1911
Address Pant, Churchstoke. All born there (Forden district of Montgomery - not that far from Sarn)
Richard Davies 59 - farm labourer
Harriet Davies 49
Martha E Davies 7
Walter Davies 6
RG13, 5199, 20, 12

There appear to be service records for the same person, judging by the occupation (waggoner). Address when he joined up in 1915 was Gwernygoe Cottage, Sarn, Newtown, Wife Mary Jane nee Longman

You could try
1901
Llanllwchaiarn, Newtown
RG13/5196/128/28
Richard Davies, 31, Scavenger
Eliza, 30
Richard W, 7
William H, 4
Sarah, 1
All b. Newtown
He's listed as Richard Walter later.

Same as Gadget - Richard Walter Davies, son of Richard and Eliza, baptised in Llanllwchaearn, not far from Sarn, on 24 Jun 1895. He was I year and 3 months old, so born in 1894.
Perhaps used his middle name to distinguish him from his father.

Richard Davies, son of Richard Davies, labourer, married Eliza Gentle, Mill Hand, daughter of John Gentle, on 28th October 1893 in Llanllwchaearn.
Their abodes were 67 Canal Road and 2 Dysart Terrace, so not Sarn. Perhaps they lived there when Walter was born, hence the delay to the baptism.
The witnesses were John and Sarah Gentle.

Marriage has Richard as Labourer. The 1901 has him as a Scavenger and later he looks as if he's a council worker/foreman.
