Hi... I am new here, hope this is okay. I have a photo of my Great Great Grandparents with 6 of their 8 children. I was wondering with fingers crossed if it can be made sharper, I cannot get the photo any bigger or clearer. It is the only photo I have of them, Richard Baxter was born in Polesworth England in 1828 and Charlotte Hall in Grenden. Any type of colouring would be awesome as well. They all had black hair except for little Richard standing between his dads knees and Joseph sitting on Charlotte’s knee whose hair was lightish brown.
Any help gratefully appreciated.
Regards Alan

OH dear ,,, Sorry loord74, I only have the photo on my computer, not as a separate photo, I originally scanned the photo from my Aunties photo album, she died a couple of years ago and I don't know what happened to the original. I think her children threw out most of her belongings as they were NOT interested in history....

I've tried to restore it, working with the photo you have posted.

I'm not sure what the shield represents but I have removed it for this colour version. if you want to keep it I can soon replace it, just let me know.

Hi Trishanne,
Wow that is fantastic ,,, its amazing to see them in colour, something I wish I could do. Thankyou very much for that. so appreciated. I dont know what the stamp is at the bottom of the photo, I thought it must be to do with the photographer,!!! it certainly dose not need to be there,
Regards Alan .

Hi Peter... Thanks for the welcome!!! and thankyou for your effort on the photo, it certainly is an improvement on the original, its a shame I dont have a clearer copy of the original. But looks better anyway. I would love to be able to colour and enhance photos.
