Title: Did Quaker men get married at an older age?
Post by: JAKnighton on Thursday 18 April 19 17:59 BST (UK)
Was just wondering if there is any data on how old Quaker men were when they married for the first time on average. I have some records in which the men are aged thirty or older, and I have a family of brothers which, if I have their birth years estimated correctly, would put them in their early-to-mid thirties at the time of marriage. Was this common?
