Is anyone having language issues with MH? Yesterday it opened with everything in Polish, today it's French. Perhaps it's taking its own ethnicity profiles seriously ;D
-
Think it must be your browser settings, Flemming.
Have you clicked on the top right corner language icon by mistake?
-
No, Gadget, I'm not that much of a Luddite ::) ;D

It should look like this:

It looks as if it's something that you've done - so maybe a semi-luddite!

I assure you I'm going nowhere near the language button. I don't have time to - it opens into a different language, but not all of it is different. Half of it is English and it clears when I click on DNA matches.
It's no real issue as I'm learning DNA terms in other languages but just interested to know if others get it.

Click on the language button and select English and see what happens.
It is something wrong with either:
your browser, your machine or something that you have done.
-
It makes no difference.
Also just found some info about issues with loading language strings which I'll have a look at.

You could try another browser, clear the cache and all the other things that are suggested when one hits a glitch.
When did it start?
-
Cookies get cleared regularly and it's happened since last doing that. Just happened twice - today in French and yesterday/day before in Polish. It isn't a major issue vs some of the genuinely irritating inflexibilities of MH but was just curious to know if others have the same thing. Looks like I've been touched with the lucky stick.
-
Part of the page I was viewing on MH yesterday was in French - specifically in the search fields when searching by Name and Surname.
Other parts of the page were still in English.
-
How strange. It's never happened to me on My Heritage. I've just tried it a few times and the fields are clear.
Is it something that you both have in common - how you search, the browser you use or something like that?
-
No idea. Perhaps they just like to check we're awake.

The same thing happened to me too, on Thursday. The login page flickered once or twice, and when I logged in, the site was not in English - possibly Polish, but not French. I logged out, and back in - this time remembering to look at the top right corner to check 'English' selected - and everything was fine.
It's not happened since, so just a minor glitch?

I haven't had any similar issues, - it's always been in English for me.
Just checked, - and it still is.
