What you don't say is that these are birth references - not marriage references ???

The births are in different counties so why can't you use that info to determine the right birth?  You presumably have your Rees on a census entry after marriage so must know where he was born

Alternatively - Buy a copy of the marriage cert for the couple to find his fathers name and occ

Then use freebmd/census entries to link him with the right father

There is this census record 1901 address High Street Feckenham Worcestershire
Rees T Jenkins age 27 born about 1874 Llanfyllin Montgomery Wales ( drapers manager )
Mary E Jenkins age 27 born Denbighshire Wales
Sarah J Jenkins are 3 weeks born Worcestershire

Gro .gov records for Sarah Jane Jenkins 1901 Warwick Worcester mother's maiden name Davis

So would say this looks like the man you are after

I think Sarah was actually Benbow

Marriage ref Thomas Jenkins mar qtr 1877 Llanfyllin vol 11b pg 289 with Sarah Benbow on the same page

marriage notice  from newspaper dated 3/2/1877
https://newspapers.library.wales/view/3854379/3854387/45/

1871 census of Chirbury RG10/5621 folio 42 pg 8 has a Sarah Benbow aged 31 b. Newtown, Mont with father John who matches the Sarah married to Thomas Jenkins. Looks like there may be another wife in between?

no, her father is John Benbow. I think the first wife is Elizabeth Ann Jones, daughter of Rees the tailor on the 1871 census whose death is recorded as

Elizabeth Ann Jenkins 26 june qtr 1874 Llanfyllin vol 11b pg 183, same quarter as the birth of Rees T.

Not that I've spotted the marriage yet...

the marriage to Thomas is after the birth of the children, so there could be another wife in between. Esther Ann is with Rees Jones in 1881. Rees had a daughter Elizabeth Ann and there is a death reg for an Elizabeth Ann Jenkins of the right age jun qtr 1874 Llanfyllin, the same quarter as the birth reg of Rees Thomas Jenkins.

If this is the correct Rees, poster needs to get the birth cert to be sure of parents. Marriage is still to be found...

marriage doesn't appear to have made it to FreeBmd or the indexing is incorrect, but North Wales Bmd do have it showing as in Llanwddyn, registers held at Llandrindod Wells. It's also on FindMyPast.
