Hello,
Is there anyone who might be able to tell me what the middle line of this image says. The top line is St George in the East as is the bottom line, but the middle line reads "Christ Church ?". It's that third word of the middle line I can't make out.
Thanks so much.

What marriage is it Erik? I'd like to look at the whole register page if it is online.

Hi Shaun, it's from the registration of the marriage of my second great-grandfather and mother:
James Steel and Ann Hester
16 Apr 1844
Christ Church, Watney Street, Tower Hamlets, London
Thank you for your help!

I think it's just District. Christ Church was a new parish at this date, hived off from St George in the East.

Yes, super! District it looks like, now that you mention it!
Thank so much, it was driving me nuts!
