Does anyone have any ideas about this one - 6 'something' Sq?
Thanks, Flemming.

Looks to be the right answer :)
I'm looking at an old OS map of Coatbridge and there's a Merryston House, although the last word on the clip does look more like 'Sq' than 'Hse'. More digging required.
Thank you !
EDIT: More info here on a previous post...

Or perhaps Merryton Square. Merryton is a town about 15 miles from Coatbridge.

Hi Trishanne, pretty sure it's the place in the link in the previous post. The family also lived at Long Row, Dundyvan, which was a long line of houses directly opposite the huge ironworks. Not the most des res I imagine :-\

Hi,
The address is 6 Merryston Square, Coatbridge.
This no longer exists, but was located immediately to the W. of Coatbridge Central Station. The attached OS 25" map shows its location https://maps.nls.uk/view/82891914 (https://maps.nls.uk/view/82891914) just NW of the junction of the canals.
