Title: Mum and dad 1946 Australia George Murray and Violet Winner.
Post by: EMOHROU on Friday 10 May 19 11:48 BST (UK)
Hi. This is a photo of my mother and father, George Murray and Violet Winner. They were married in 1946. My mum died of cancer when I was 10 years old so I dont know her well. But she had hazel eyes and light (very light) brown hair, dad had black hair.
We think this is the wedding photo as mum appears to be wearing a veil, its the only clear photo we have of mum as a lot of stuff was destroyed when dad remarried.
If I can have this colored I would be over the moon.
love Jennie

Hi everyone.
WOW, I am totally blown away with these colored photos, mum and dad brought back to life for me. So awesome, I just sent  copies of them to my Aunty, BUT: she now tells me that mum had blondish hair, everything else totally perfect. I wished I could remember mum more, and when I really think about it I can sort of remember her having really light colored hair. Is it possible to change her hair to blond, I know I am a pain.
And I love where you gave her eyes, that is so cool.
Love Jennie

Wow, they re really good thank you so much, It is really hard to know exactly what someone looked like in color when you have nothing else to go on, there is no other color photos of mum anywhere that we have found. we can only go on what older people who knew her can tell us. I wish I could remember her better, I do know she was a lovely person and a great mother, but cancer took her from us, the same cancer has also claimed three of my sisters.
Thank you so very very much to all these photos of mum and dad, so lovely, I am so appreciative of them.
Much Love Jennie .. xxx
