Hi,
I am searching for shipping records of Harry Goddard from London to Australia, who was living at Broome Western Australia in 1912 electoral rolls, where he had a Bakery and later became a Pearler. He was son of George Goddard and Kate (nee Thorn). He was still in Broome in 1925 electoral rolls, and then found in Perth in 1926.
Wondering if anyone could assist me with his migration records please.

majm and maddy,
Thanks for the information , this has to be him arriving in Australia, as we cannot find him in UK in 1911 census. There was one, I believe from another family member that stated he arrived in Brisbane, 18.10.1910 aged 23 years, think they have wrong information. I need to confirm that this is correct.
It would be great if we could get shipping information from Fremantle to Derby or Broome, Western Australia, not sure how we find that information.
We believe also that he returned on board the Ausonia" from Australia arriving in London 19/7/1927.

On RChat's Australia board there is a board dedicated to Resources. On that board there are sub-boards dedicated to each state's resources. The best place to get help with Australian enquiries is on the main Australia board. Perhaps you could consider asking a global moderator to move your thread to that board...

Have you tried checking the newspapers for coastal shipping info for Perth to Broome or vice versa?
Have you checked if he served in WWI?

Thank you both, will do.
