This lady as got me totally baffled. According to her death certificate in the name of Patience Emily Cookson sometimes Hart died 05.06.1942 and she lived at 74 Ainsworth Road Radcliffe M26. Her daughter Martha A Cookson registered the death. She was 54 so birth 1888.
She also had a son Joseph Hart 30.01.1928 in Middlesborough father named as Robert Hart registered by P Hart mother.
In 1939 she is registered on the England and Wales register as living in Bury under the name of Hart
I have been unable to find a birth or any census for her. As she died as Cookson it looks like she never married Hart.
I have not managed to find either her or Robert Hart hope you can help. ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

If you have found her in 1939 then you have a birthdate for her (and Robert Hart), surely?
-
If Robert Hart is the one with birth reg Dec qtr 1880 Middlesbrough he may have married others:
(1) Jane Elizabeth Noble, Dec qtr 1902 Ashton under Lyne. She died Dec qtr 1917 Ashton aged 33.
(2) Mary Mason, Jun qtr 1918 Ashton.

Her birthyear is not 1888 on the 1939 entry is it?
There is only one birth for a Patience Emily on freebmd in that year which is Patience Emily Barker
-
A Martha Cookson married Arthur Hart in 1920 Dewsbury - see freebmd

A Martha Cookson married Arthur Hart in 1920 Dewsbury - see freebmd
Patience’s daughter Martha A Cookson seems likely to have been born in the range 1919 - 1927 (redacted in 1939) and still Cookson in 1942 when she registered her mother’s death.

Thank you for your help Carol W the birth year on the 1939 register is 92 but according to death certificate she was born in 1888.
It's also interesting that there was only 1 Patience Emily on the bmd that year and she was Barker.
I did find a Patience Cookson born in Radcliffe but that was in 1880 she died in 1950.
Avm228 that Robert Hart in Middlesbro would gel with Joseph being born in 1928. I also found the Martha and Arthur married in Dewsbury they also had a son Joseph born Mar quarter 1928 in Middlesbro?
Also the fact he had been married twice maybe he was still married to the 2nd one?
Thank you both so much for the info I don't know what I would do without this site.

There is only one Joseph Hart mmn Cookson born Mar qtr 1928 Middlesbrough - surely he is the son of Robert and Patience?
I don’t understand the relevance of the Dewsbury couple.

Samuel, birth reg Jun qtr 1929 Middlesbrough, died Sep qtr 1929 Middlesbrough aged 0.
Daniel, birth reg Sep qtr 1930 Middlesbrough, died Dec qtr 1931 Middlesbrough aged 1.
