I am researching
GORE Dudley
and I have located a death in 1963 aged 59 at Potts Point buried 15 August 1963.... It seems to match A Dudley Eric Gore in Potts Point on the Electoral roll in 1963 a Travellor.
Dudley shows up in on the Prisoner of war cards born 30 September 1903 (has his mother's name as Doris Anastasia and Father Christopher Cornelius) ... from my GRO Search and the 1911 Census I think his mother name is Daisy Amelia Gore....
Christopher's mother's maiden name is Rowe....
Can anyone show how I find
1.... How Dudley Eric arrives in Australia and any detail of his naval records he is recorded as warrant officer...
2..... I can't seem to find marriage for a Rowe and Gore so wondering if I anyone can find this...
Cheran ??? ???

Ryerson Index mentions that the announcement in the SMH OF 13 August 1963 will show that he died at St Vincents Hospital 9 August, and that he was formerly of Hong Kong,

Are you sure the chap who died in August 1963 was Dudley Eric GORE? The NSW BDM index for deaths does not give his parents names, but an official transcription of that d.c. would likely give information about his place of birth, his marriage/s, children of the marriage, where born, and how long in Australia ...

Parents names unlikely to be on the document, but NSW death certs are usually very informative... The informant may not have known the names of his parents, but may well have known many other details - the headings allow for responses to cover:
Full name, sex, age,
date & place of death,
place of residence,
occupation
and under marital status: (if more than one marriage, each 'family' grouped in their own separate lists)...
Place of marriage,
age when married,
full name of spouse (including nee) .
Children's name and ages.
Parents' names and mother's maiden name.
Cause of death and duration of last illness.
Burial or cremation date and place.

Also, the National Library of Australia has e-resources, including access to more recent newspapers ahead of Trove ... :) Do you have a library card ... :D and NSW State Library as e resources too, and excellent access to recent newspapers too... ;D and there's also google news archives, not as easy to access, and not as good a coverage of NSW papers....

Thanks Jim I do have a national library card will have a good look over the next few days!

Sussex Agricultural Express May 4, 1923 Quite a long piece
Dudley Eric GORE in the dock. Theft etc. His father Christopher Cornelius GORE has put up £25 bond for good behaviour owing to a previous appearance
.

Judge's comments..
"But there appeared no desire on his part to lead a good life and he went on with the same man in a career of crime. He thought it was his duty to tell prisoner that if he continued in the career that he had chosen and did not try to lead a good life he was bound to end as a very bad man" (my bold :))
