Elizabeth McKay was born somewhere in Ireland c 1840. She is believed to be the daughter of Hugh and Betty McKay. Elizabeth McKay married soldier John Malone on 19 August 1868 in Adelaide.
They moved to England and ended up in Wales.
Elizabeth died November 1882 aged 40 in Wrexham and was buried in the cemetery there.
Information just found in the burial register states that her body was removed and taken to Ireland in January 1884.
Would there be anything in newspapers or any other records that might find her final resting place.

Since she had died in England there won't be a death registration in Ireland (but I checked to make sure). Usually it was only the Church of Ireland who kept burial registers but you'd need to know what church and then check to see what records survive. Cemeteries usually keep burial records but again you need a location.

Even looking at C Reg Death results for Hugh McKay from 1864 to 1902 gives very very few contenders

This is the only clue I have. Two sources have the same date. Parents John and Elizabeth
Teresa Malone 22 July 1871 • Banbridge, County Down, Ireland
Family search .227, LOUGHBRICKLAND, DOWN,
So Elizabeth must have travelled to Ireland after the census to give birth, why did she go there, did she have family there.
Then she has Hugh a couple of years later in Wrexham, the 1939 register confirms her date of birth.
1871 WREXHAM
John Malone 37 B Ireland

I wonder if there is any connection with Peter McKey, on the birth entry for Teresa it does look more like e than a.
Could Elizabeth's father Hugh be related.?
I suppose it`s only a burial register that would solve it, or a name on a headstone which is unlikely.
