I want rid of the colour (pink) from my Task bar. I am still on Windows 7, and using Firefox browser. I simply want to change it back to white, the way it was before.
I have tried going to Start, then Settings then Personalization. I am almost certain I do it on this page but I don't see how to continue. Anyone have any ideas?

It probably has to do with your desktop background. Go into the Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Personalization>Desktop Background.

uk,
I appreciate your help. I did as you suggested but the answer wasn't there. However, continuing the search, I discovered that the Pink theme at the top of the page had come from "Personalize your Firefox"...
When I click Extensions and Add-ons, I see the pink choice, plus a light blue colour as an option, which looks a hundred times better than that awful pink. I clicked that and the light blue at the top is really fine. I still have no idea how to get back to the white background on the Taskbar if I wanted it.
...So it was actually an Add-on I had been messing about with just this morning. Problem solved - Thanks!

Right click on the taskbar and select Taskbar Settings - colours.
