Post by: Bonniebuster196 on Thursday 23 May 19 01:25 BST (UK)
Hi
My husband has found out he has a half brother who was adopted, born and adopted in Germany about 70 yrs ago.  Where would we start to look for his adoption.  TIA

Osnabruck we believe. We have his birth certificate, he was born in Herne-Sodingen 30 12 1941 and we have the adopting parents names.

Are you trying to find out exactly when he was adopted, or where he is now, or details of his parents..?
It's a wee bit unclear from what you have written.  :)

Trying to find where he is now, or even if he is still alive... Not necessarily contact him.
