Been a while since I last posted as I have been revisiting and reviewing some of my old research trying to get answers to queries.
I have a Leslie P W Hill who married Gladys J Hall in 1941. Before I send away for a marriage certificate I was hoping that by carrying out a burial look up it may produce some information to confirm I have the right people.
With this in mind, does anyone have access to records or details ( Gilroes CD or Welford Road cemetery ) who could kindly carry out a look up please. I would ideally like information on the burial of Leslie P W Hill who passed away in the June quarter of the year 2000 in Leicester.

Can't help with a burial record however the Leslie Percy W Hill who died in 2000, Leicester had a birth date of 6 Sep 1916 (not sure if that helps).

Both Gilroes & Welford Road Cemetery's discs only go up to 1950. You may need to email the cemetery it self?

The following ties in with the person who died in 2000
He appears on the 1939 Register in Leicester but we are not supposed to post details.
His birth mother's surname was Parker. Wilfred Hill married Lilian Ada Parker in Leicester Q2 1916.
Lillian married again in 1939 to Arthur Carding prior to the Register. Her surname given as Hill or Parker.
There is a tree on Ancestry which gives his mother as Ada Carding, rather than Parker.
