Title: Problem with Outlook

   I cannot open Outlook this evening - there is a message about Corrupted content error. I have had a look online and it seems to be a recurring problem, but the solutions given are a bit beyond me. I only use Firefox, and am not very technically minded. I wonder if there had been a minor upgrade without me noticing as I had to re-enter an identity question in the bank website as well.
   I have just found another problem - other websites are not opening properly.

   I have realised this is a problem I can't deal with, even with help from experts on here. Thanks for looking!

Don't do anything rash, keep notes of EXACTLY what you do, even taking camera photos of the screen or any error messages.  Be careful of who you choose to give you any commercial advice.

You wouldn't be going wrong if you DO give more information here before making any decisions.

   Thanks for your concern Martin. Problem sorted by my son via a remote link - I wouldn't dare ask anyone else to interfere with it! He works with computers all day, and has a long commute, so I am always a bit reluctant to trouble him.
