Title: Highland/Hilan of Ratvilly Parish, near Tullow, Carlow

I seem to have come to a dead end with parish registries in Carlow.

I'm wondering if anyone has any leads on John and Sarah Highand (they would have married before 1807 when their daughter was born)?

I'm wondering if they emigrated from Scotland or Wales to Ireland?

John and Sarah Highland, parents of
Mary Highland Dargan (married to Rodger Dargan), parents of
John and Margaret Townsend of Leighlinbridge (where my father was born a few generations later).
