Home 7-9-14 to 13-7-15, not sure of the next word but then France 14-7-15 to 28-12-15, back Home 29-12-15 to 13-12-16 back to France 14-12-16 to 31-5-17.
I can't make out the first words, 1st finger left-hand (?) 24-12-?, Gunshot hand in the field 24-12-?

GSW (gun shot wound) Left Leg and then what looks like Amp (could this mean amputated?) 28-5-17.

Looks like SU at the end of that particular line with what we think is 'Shrapnel' in it -- but can't think what that SU can mean at the moment

you are all amazing thank you  :)
it's my mom grandad and she said it was definitely an amputation on the left leg but she is shocked to hear about the other wounds he never mentioned them. D day brought me to have a look if I could find anything about him from ww1
Absolute heroes all of them.
He went on to have 2 more children despite what happened haha!

Just an idea...

Best regards,

Looking at it again - it might not be an 'S' -- it's not like the other capital 'S' s which are just a plain 'S' -- it's fancier!

Sorry - that doesn't help one jot with the ending of that line I'm afraid.
