Title: Padgett Family
Post by: krytines on Saturday 08 June 19 11:25 BST (UK)
Good Morning!

I am looking for information on a Harry Padgett born 1893 in Churwell Yorkshire England.  His parents were Mother:  Mary Elizabeth Sampson/Padgett Born 1864 Died 1903 and Father Benjamin Padgett born:  1861 died 1934.  He had two siblings Hedley Padgett 1885-1963 and Atkinson Padgett 1888-1959.  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can find nothing on Harry except his birth year.

Thank You!

Hello

Have you got the family on the 1901 census?  If Harry is missing he may have passed away when he was young.

Is he registered as just "Harry" at birth?  Wondering if he was known by another name.

If both parents were alive in 1911 then the information asks for number of children born/died but I see mother has passed away by then so that won't help us  :-\

Sorry not having much luck with Harry.  I see some of the family went to Canada?  Maybe he went over there.

Do you know where his father was in 1911?

Mary Elizabeth did not die in 1903, she was still living with Benjamin in Churwell in 1911.

Thank you Dundee so very much for sending all this wonderful information on the Padgett family.  You did alot of research I would never had thought in checking out the Family Search site.  I was going by Harry instead of Henry so that is probably why I couldn't find anything.  When people use variants or nicknames it makes it very difficult for the researcher doesn't it!  So very much appreciated Dundee!! :) :) Have a nice weekend!
