Title: Who were Geraldine’s parents?
Post by: GenesA on Sunday 23 June 19 14:01 BST (UK): Geraldine O’Connell (or Connell) was born around 1875 in the state of Illinois. She was married to Frank Fuller in a Catholic ceremony on 29 June 1897. The 1900 US census states that Geraldine’s father had been born in Maine, whereas her mother had been born in Ireland.

I can’t locate any records for Geraldine prior to her marriage so any help would be hugely appreciated.

This does seem to be an outlier though - in other censuses as you say her mother’s birthplace was given as Ireland.

Have you looked into whether a marriage certificate/register entry survives?

William O'Connell died in 1921. His obit refers to a daughter "Mrs. Annie Fuller"

Geraldine Fuller was my great grandmother and Frank Fuller was my great grandfather. Please message me if you are still looking for information on her. I'm new to this site and haven't learned how to use the features yet.
