Can anyone give me an idea of the date of this picture please

I would suggest late Edwardian & possibly up to WW1.
You can see that the beds & linen are not all the same so it looks
like this has been put together in a hurry.
It's possible this is a building given over to military use
& this was taken before the arrival of wounded men.

WW1, going by the Union flag on the far wall.

Yes, WW1 as Ainslie says, due to the Union Jack on the wall. As Jim says this was probably put together in a hurry, not only do the bedclothes not match, neither do the beds.

Agree WW1. I've seen some similar photos but can't find them at the moment.

Is that gas lighting in the top left?  If so not very safe!
