Welcome :)
Were Thomas and Eliza the parents of Frank b 1909?
When approximately was the Wilsons’ migration to Australia?

I don’t see Alma born in Suffolk or elsewhere in England.
Was her mother Pri(s)cilla Maud Whitbread who died in Western Australia in 1972 aged 80?

Did you mean 1885? Frank b 1909 would have turned 5 in 1914?

Could you confirm my understanding that the lineage goes as follows:
Thomas WILSON (born 1880 Yorkshire) married (in Australia) Eliza
(sons Ben, John b1907, Frank b1909)
son Frank WILSON (born 1909) married Alma May DAY (nee WHITBREAD born 1920)
I won't carry the tree forward as Rootschat has a policy of not naming living persons.
I am a little puzzled by the WHITBREAD line. The only potential marriage I found on FreeBMD is:
Jun qtr 1905 Brentford vol 3a p337 Alfred Henry WHITBREAD on same page as Priscilla STEVENS.
this may tie in with a birth:
Jun qtr 1878 Brentford vol 3a p109 Alfred Henry WHITBREAD mmn LAMBERT.
Brentford is in Middlesex and there is no obvious connection with Suffolk.
Please could you let us know what is the earliest official record you have for the family in Australia? This will give us a definite date to work back from.
Philip

It’s the reference number, no. and the year, you would use if you were going to purchase the certificate.

Yes, I understand that. But having the same maiden surname as her daughter's husband means a possible previous family connection (OR maybe none at all, common name!)
Priscilla had a number of siblings born in Victoria,
Mother's name is correctly Margaret DOWNEY, I think.
Lawrence may have been a nephew of Priscilla maybe.

It seemsthe parents of the DAY family originally from Victoria where Priscilla and her siblings were born, went to Western Australia.
This is the death notice for Margaret, the mother.
https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/40716594
Death notice for Margaret, the wife (widow)of Arthur Charles DAY in WA 1936
Her children are listed and includes Maud WHITBREAD.
Others of her children have WA addresses too
(Perhaps Priscilla used her second name more often.)
