Thank you for all the feedback. Findmypast also has the same couple potentially also marrying in Llanelli St. Eli in 1813. Can someone please provide details of that entry. Is is the same couple? Is it a transcription error in Findmypast? Thank you.

Sorry, I should have read your initial reply more carefully. Would you consider it unusual for the banns to be read in one church and the marriage to occur in another?

Banns were read in the parish of bride and groom if different parishes.
The LLanon marriage register for their wedding reads " William Evan, bachelor of Llanelly of the County of Carmarthen...." and "Mary Jones, spinster of the Parish of the Parish of Llanon ...."
