Can anyone read this paragraph from a newspaper cutting from the British Newspapers collection?
If you want to look at the original, it is entitled "A Serious Assault". It is from the Barnet Press, 26 July 1879.

Mrs Daniells’s hair. She assisted Mrs Daniells in
getting away. Mary Ann Daniells said she and her
husband had been having a few words and she
upset the stall. The man Blackaby helped to
replace the stall. Afterwards he came round and
asked her where her husband was, and hit her in
the face. She threatened to lock him up and fol-
lowed him, and several other women followed him
and hit him. She did not strike Blackaby with the
poker. She ........... did not bite Blackaby
Jessie Adams said on the Sunday morning after the
row had taken place she heard Mrs Daniells say
that she had hit complainant with the poker and
… him - Timothy Bland, with whom this conver-
sation was alleged to have taken place denied that
there was any truth in the previous witness’s evi-
dence. The bench next heard evidence in a case
…………the former case, namely Leggett v
Blackaby Complainant said that defendant
hit him in the head (?) when he went to the assistance of
the woman. The…………....have been an accident.
The Magistrates retired to consider the cases
and on their return they dismissed the case of
Leggett against Blackaby, and the case of Daniells
against Blackaby. In the case of Blackaby against
the two Daniells, George Daniells must pay a fine
of 5s and 17s costs. Mrs Daniells behaved more
like a fiend than a human being, and the Bench
did not think the justice of the case would be met
by a fine, therefore she would have to go to prison
for one calendar month with hard labour.

And yes, the description is graphic. it seems that my Great Grandmother was a very feisty woman, especially given that she would have been seven months pregnant at the time. Her son was born in HMP Westminster!
