Title: Togneri Family
Post by: ThatAndyGuy93 on Wednesday 18 September 19 14:15 BST (UK)
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any information regarding the Togneri family who were/are based in Stirling? I have recently discovered that my Great Grandfather was Aldo Togneri who was from Stirling and I know very little about the family as there doesn't seem to be much information online.

Thanks

Don't know if there is any connection, but there was a family called Toganerelli who ran a milk bar in Kendal in the 70s
Don't know anything about them I'm afraid.

There are quite a number of birth registrations on https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/
Rgistration began in 1855 there are no earlier church reords for the name.

Including this one, he married in Stirling.
TOGNERI   ALDO   M   1923    Kilmadock, Perthshire near the Stirlingshire border.

Hi, I know of the Togneris, Mr Roberto Togneri was a lovely man and a respected teacher and has very recently passed away, being in his 80s.  My brother is friends with his son. He lived in Stirling. Don't know anything of his background, would be reluctant to post anything due to his children being very much alive.  However, you may be able find an obituary for Mr Togneri and take it from there.

Cheers, Auntiemomo

I've got a fair bit of the history. Let me know if you're still searching. We've got ancestors in common.
