Title: Healy
Post by: margmasson on Saturday 26 October 19 05:54 BST (UK)
I know this is a long shot, but somebody may be able to help. I am looking for descends of Nicholas Healy and Mary Hogan who lived in Killilah, County Clare Ireland. Four of their children came to Australia in the mid to late 1850's.,, Mary born about 1835, Denis born about 1838, Ann born about 1839 and Daniel born about 1844. Daniel was my great grandfather. I know that some other of Nicholas and Mary,s children want to U.S.A, probably about the same time as the ones who came to Australia. I know I am living in hope, but it would be great if anyone knows of any of their descendants

I tried searching at familysearch.org and ancestry.com using only the parents' names and a birth in Ireland between 1830 and 1850. There were no results at familysearch. The only result at ancestry.com was a tree that included only Daniel, Ann, and Denis as children.

How do you know that some Healy children went to America?
It will be very difficult to search for possible Healy relatives in America without at least names and an idea of when they were born. Have you searched for baptisms in Ireland to get clues?
Have you found deaths for the parents Nicholas & Mary to see when and where they died (and details of the informants)?
Where is Killilah in County Clare? Google found a Killilagh House (bed & breakfast) in Doolin. If that is the correct area then this looks like the church records-
https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0630 (baptisms start 1854, marriages 1860)
Unfortunately looks like those are the earliest records-

Aghadowey, I am sorry about that. I had completely forgotten about the other post.
Once again, many thanks.
