I have self-published a novel that tells the story of my Great Uncle, Pte. Farquhar McLennan, CEF during his time as a soldier in the Great War. The story mixes fact and fiction in following him on his journey from basic training to the trenches in Belgium. His skill and love of football play a major role in this narrative. It is a great read.
