Hi
If anyone is able to look up a death register I would like information on Jan/Fe/March Vol 6a, page 39 1884 Walter Earnest Pearce , he was born 1879 and his given age on the 1881 census was 18m. Died age 5. Parents Matilda and Henry Pearce, in the reg District of Bristol.
I am interested in the cause of death and also where place of death was recorded . Does anyone know where or how I might find out a burial place? He was recorded around Barton Regis area/Gloucester. Bristol.

Members of the public do not have access to info on death certs - you have to buy a copy. At the moment - you can buy a pdf copy for £7

Thank you for that , I will order one tomorrow. From that , I hope it may help locate a burial place.

A death registration would not show a burial place. It will show the date and place of death and the name of the informant (e.g. family member, coroner etc.)
From the place of death it might be possible to figure out the closest graveyard or cemetery which could move the search forward.

Your Walter Ernest's birth was registered in Barton Regis reg district. Are you sure that the Walter Pearce (no middle name) that died in Bristol reg dist is not the son of John & Esther whose birth was registered 1879 Bristol reg district.
