Hi I was hoping someone may be able to help with the following:
I'm looking for information on Robert Battle who was born abt. 1826 Pressen, Nordsachsen, Sachsen, Germany. Robert married hannah born 1824 from Poland - surname unknown at this point.
Roberts son was Robert Battle, 1848 born Preußen, Berlin - British Subject, who went on to marry Alice Kirk.
Robert can be found in the 1851 census • Kingston Upon Hull Holy Trinity, Yorkshire, England
And 1881 • St Anne Soho, London, England.
Robert died in Lambeth 1906.
Any information about this Robert Battle, his wife Hannah, his parentage etc would be gratefully received.

Not sure about this as cant seem to find any birth regs of Robert/Hannahs children except this possible one;

Do you have Robert Snrs 2nd Marriage Cert to Gertrude Amelia Brace 1890?

I don't have the marriage cert but found Gertrude amelia brace on gro whose mother's maiden name is Wilson, Mary Ann.

This seems to fit with a BATTLE family on the 1861 census (FamilySearch transcript):
RG09/3476/74 p10 - Sims Croft, Sheffield
Robert, head, 35, tailor, born Prussia
Ann, wife, 34, born Prussia
Powell, son, 12, scholar, born Prussia
??, son, 10, born Prussia
James, son, 4, born Prussia

The only way to find more on Roberts Father is to buy that 1890 Marriage Cert.
