And what was your ggggrandmothers name?  When was she born and who were her parents?  The 1841 CI census has 6 entries for that surname

There are a few possible baptisms for Richard in that age range on Family search but without knowing his actual birthplace in England it's difficult to pinpoint the right entry

Who did Matilda marry?

Looking at the nephew Henry Wilson in hopes of finding where Richard was born.  Given Matilda was too young to be his sister I think she was probably the daughter of Richards brother.  Henry would be his great nephew.

Births  HENRY  RICHARD LUFF WILSON - mothers maiden name Luff
March qtr 1845  SAINT LUKE MIDDLESEX  Volume 02  Page 315

Marriages March qtr 1844
LUFF    Matilda Mary         Brentford    3   12
Wilson    Henry         Brentford    3   12

It was 19.2.1844 at Isleworth but no other info shown on Family Search

Deaths Dec qtr 1844
WILSON    Matilda Mary         St Lukes    2   258 she was 21yrs old

Henry was probably born December 1844 but if his birth was registered after Christmas it would fall in the first qtr of the following year

A tree on Ancestry has Matilda Mary Luff as the daughter of Richard and Charlotte nee Barnicoat and that she is the one married to Henry Wilson.

If that was the case - Henry Wilson should be shown as their grandson in 1851 - but the image clearly describes him as their nephew

The tree also has this incorrect information and shows her 1844 death in Guernsey

Quote
She married Henry Wilson in 1844 in Guernsey.

I know - I gave you her death details above.  I was pointing out that the info on the tree I mentioned is wrong as it shows she died in Guernsey

Also - the tree shows Henry b 1845 as the grandson of Richard & Charlotte but the 1851 clearly shows him as their nephew.
