Robert and Emma Jones were both born in Hope, Flintshire, and had completed 36 years of marriage as of the 1911 census where they were in Buckley. This places their marriage in 1874 or 1875. Their children were as follows:
Arthur Francis Jones: 1878
Jane Jones: 1880
Catherine Jones: 1882
Mary Jones: 1883
Edith Jones: 1886
Emily Jones: 1886
William H Jones: 1889
John Jones: 1892
All born in Flintshire.
I would appreciate if someone could show me how to find Emma's maiden name and find a marriage record for the couple. I believe Robert's father was also a Robert Jones if this helps.

Researching Jones in Flint is very hard
Any other clues such as agedprofession exact address etc ?
I have Jones marrying other Jones
But you should be able to get emma #( I meant Jane).s maiden name from children's birth records ... do you have any exact birthdates ? Maybe obtain them from 1939 registration

The record has mmn, but the indexes didn’t until 1911, which is what the freeBMD work from. GRO data is from the certificates, hence can capture more info. Hope that clarifies things.

I have aDNA connection with someone who has Elizabeth Owens b1810 Chester who married Thomas Youd b 1802 Flint
So we are probably distantly related thru them
I.ll see if I can work out the connection.
