Please can someone help me with the following record, I've visited the Ancestry births for Oxfordshire but their records for Idbury don't start until 1754. I'd like to check the following record as I don't think it's correct:

Birth Idbury, Oxfordshire 1726
'Pougheshis'

Where have you found this information?

Have you contacted the Records Office to see what records they hold for Idbury?

I've just looked at my copy of the St Nicholas Church, Idbury PR's where it states:
POUGHESHIS Mary d o Josef & Martha bapt 10 July 1726.
There are no other entries for that family name in that church PR's anywhere.
