Title: O'Reilly/Reilly of Crosswater, Cavan & Brady of Stonefield, Oldcastle
Post by: Breedeen on Monday 23 December 19 15:33 GMT (UK)
My great great grandmother Bridget O'Reilly (1822 - 1869) had a sister Mary (c1819 - 1906) who married a man named Brady and they had 2 sons named James and Michael that I know of. They lived in Stonefield near Oldcastle. Bridget and Mary were from Crosswater in Co. Cavan. Bridget married  an Edward Ternan (pronounced Tiernan) and they lived in Woodmill, Tullyallen, near Drogheda, Co. Louth in the mid to late 1800's. They had 9 children that I know of and their daughters used to cycle over to Mary Brady's in Stonefield to visit their aunt. Their names were Ann, Mary Jane, Julia (Judith) & Bridget Ternan. There was another younger sister Rose. There were also 4 sons Edward, James, Arthur & Thomas. Has anyone any connection to these people? Thankyou.
