I believe the Gwendraeth Hotel pictured was in Burry Port in 1936  but does anyone know where?

On 1911 it's between 14 Station Road and Somerset House, Station Road

Mabel,
You're spot on.
An item in the South Wales Daily News, 30 April 1890, in mentioning the Gwendraeth Hotel refers to "...Somerset House, next door to the hotel ...".

Thank you both, that's where we suspected it was given the size of the forecourt but couldn't find anything online about the Gwendraeth Hotel or the Bacus Transport Company.

Much appreciated, Sue
