Happy New year to you all,
I am having no joy in finding an entry for the 1911 census for my gt gt grandmother Annie K Bitton, she lived in Hull and I have looked and looked and cannot find her, she should have some family living with her but I'm not sure who.
Her husband is at sea.
In the 1901 census she lived at 1 west end, Queens dock in Hull.
Can anyone help me please ?
Thanks in advance

We aren't supposed to do lookups on the 1911 census, as it is still covered by copyright.
-
We can provide info from FS, Kevin.
There's this one - possible?

Does not look the same as the 1901 :-\
-
I see that she died in 1937, Hull, so she must be there somewhere :-\
-
Can’t find son Arthur H in 1911 either 🤔
-
Annie Kate Bagguley was born in 1870.
Married in 1889.
Can't see son Arthur H, nor daughter Ellen M in 1911?
Wonder if they were in the workhouse, under initials?

I've looked with the least poss info and nothing is coming up. Her husband was b. Norfolk - maybe there :-\

Thanks Jamjar That's how I found the info - see reply #3
PS - the death info has her born c 1869/age 68 Q4 1937

Iv looked at the family search link, but it's not her. Her husband is on a ship and so is her son, she should have her daughter with her.
Il.have to check for spelling variations

Yes, that looks like them, I had Arthur Bitton on a census in 1911 for a ship called ss dagenham, aged 47. I was sent that info from a diving historical society. How strange ! Everything else fits in the "Britton" entry apart from Arthur's place of birth which was Norfolk, I have his birth certificate.
Thanks for all the help

Census forms are usually distributed by the enumerator ahead of time. Maybe he was at home at this time and completed it. He then went to sea so there were two entries for him. This happens in quite a few cases, so is not unusual. The son was entered too but was scratched out - or, maybe, the wrong Arthur was deleted!

He was at sea , Dagenham
