Hi again, Back to Austria, Vienna, I have found the Baptisms of both parents of Marie Peutl who married into the Gutmann family. I will ask one at a time.
The mother was Julianna ?Saseth? , born 22nd July 1830, baptized 23rd. Her address was Ober St Veil No.27 . The right side of the register is my problem which I would like help with. Her father was Franz ?Saseth? and mother Eva.
The link to this page is http://data.matricula-online.eu/de/oesterreich/wien/13-ober-st-veit/01-06/?pg=105 . 3rd baptism down, and image below of the right hand side.
Thanks, Dave.

Trakteurbesitzer
this is not a tractor owner.
The name relates to a form of publican/lnn owner
see screen shot, saying that the tax deadline for all Trakteur owners, who do not have the right to sell brandy/spirits, is the 8 November

Thanks again DaveC for the transcript and translation.
I try to work out what the Clerics have written first, but it is hard with their writing, especially when the fathers name and occupation all start with ‘F…’, yet all 3 are written differently.
I will post Marie Peutl’s father (Johanna Faseth’s husband) Baptism later.
Regards, Dave.

Hi Dave,
earlier it was common practice to write documents using two different scripts.
Latin handwriting was used for proper names, headings and correspondence
Kurrent or Sütterlin for the rest.
In this case it is latin and Kurrent.
If you look at the F in Franz and the F in Faseth you will see a similarity.
The wavey line above the F is a part of the F in Faseth. This is latin Handwriting
The F in Fleischhauermeister is Kurrent. (it is written in lower case which is wrong)
And of course each clerk had his own style of handwriting.
Regards
Dave
