Title: William Brimmer
Post by: OZB1964 on Monday 24 February 20 15:55 GMT (UK)
Hi,

I am looking for a lookup on William Brimmer baptised 21-Mar-1747 at Sonning
To parents John Brimmer 6-Feb-1723 and Elizabeth nee Stevens 9-Oct-1728 who were married at Bix 23-Nov-1746.
John was baptised Mapledurham and his wife Sonning

William being there second child of 9.

Others being Elizabeth (23-Aug-1747) Sonning
Dorothy (8-Apr-1753) Sonning  married John Reeves at Sonning (15-Jun-1774)
Eleonor (16-Apr-1758) Sonning
Sarah (13-Nov-1763) Shiplake married Samuel Machlin at Sonning (14-Nov-1784)
Maria (8-Jun-1766) Shiplake presumably died before 1768 as name reused.
Thomas (19-Apr-1768) Shiplake Twin
Maria (19-Apr-1768) Shiplake Twin
Joseph (18-Mar-1770) Shiplake

So I am looking for a lookup for marriage and burial of William Brimmer.

I have looked in the Parish registers for the following Bix, Checkendon, Xmas Commmon, Cuxham, Harpsden, Nettlebed, Nuffield, Rotherfield Greys, Rotherfield Peppard, Rotherfield Peppard Cong, Shiplake, Sonning, Swyncombe and Watlington.
All with no luck.

Any clues / leads greatly appreciated.

Regards

Laurie

Welcome to Rootschat. This would have probably been better for results on the Berkshire lookup requests. However I have found a couple of Marriages and a death in Berkshire for a William Brimmer.
To Hannah Rickman by licence in Sonning - William was living at the time in St Marys Reading. St Andrews Church Sonning on the 19/5/1780. 2/8/1790 marriage to Ann Champion St Andrews Church Sonning by Banns. A death for a William Brimmer -buried 8/6/1792 St Peter Caversham, Berkshire.
Regards.

Thank you for these Paco.

I actually already have these marriages written down quiet why I didn't make the connection is anyones guess.

The burial didn't have.
