Is anyone else having trouble accessing Rootschat while using Firefox? I had to go to Google Chrome to get onto the site.
This is the error message I've been getting today (see attached).
Maybe it's just a temporary glitch on my end but I'll hit the button to notify a moderator, in case I'm not the only one with this issue.

I just had the same, after Firefox updated.
I just clicked on the 'enable TLS' link and all worked fine.
However, it looks as though this won't work in the future. ???
TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 will be permanently disabled in a future release.

Same issue here.....
I don't get the TLS option, perhaps because Firefox has just updated itself for me....

Hi all
Yes I had the same I clicked on the 'enable TLS' the same as bevj. I'm told it may be that Rootschat need to update their security in the future or I won't be able to access it. Its worked fine since.

I think that's right. I had the same problem following the Firefox update, so I went via Chrome, and that flagged Rootschat as an insecure site.

I have had the same problem and the same message from Firefox, so I have used Chrome.
As I didn't understand the TLS link -- I didn't click it (I am not the brightest with technical issues!)
I'll go back and try that out of interest. Pleased to know that I am not the only one experiencing this problem.

There are other fixes in another message... But Support are aware...

Thanks, all. I clicked on the button as others suggested and I'm now able to access Rootschat using Firefox. (I had been afraid to do so before in case it was some kind of phishing virus.) I'm glad the folks in charge are aware of the situation.

Josephine
