Hello,
David was living in Plymstock in 1841, with his mother Mary and his siblings. His father John was a stonemason. I haven’t found a birth certificate for him, and have struggled to find christenings for any of the children, except Robert Lake (b. 1831). I’ve searched FindMyPast. Would anyone be able to help me please?
I’d appreciate any help!
Adam

Fanny 14 Dec 1834
Susanna 26 Jan 1838

Thanks! I didn’t manage to find any others. Just typical, that my ancestor is the one missing ;D he’s with them all on the 1841 Census and then on the 1851 Census in Guernsey.

Looks like he was baptised at St Helier 7 July 1844, birth 21 Aug 1840 (on FreeReg)

Wow! Thanks for that. That explains why it couldn’t be found.

You're welcome. :) Nice to have a baptism record with so much information.

Also I just realised he was baptised on Jersey! Must’ve lived there before they moved to Guernsey. Fascinating.
