William and Emma Pinnegar had 5 children. Emma's maiden name was Bleaken
Gwendoline b 1900 (c) Hawkesbury
Male 1902-1902 Chipping Sodbury
Frederick William b 1903 ditto
Margaret Doris Rebecca b 1906 ditto
Stanley John b 1910 ditto
No problem finding the birth reg for 4 of the children both on GRO site and FreeBMD
But can find no entry for Gwendoline. She is on the 1911 census in FindMyPast, I do not have a subscription for ancestry,
Any help would be appreciated.

In 1901 she is Gwendoline P. FRY. I can see the birth on FreeBMD as Gwendoline Phoebe P. FRY, but not on the GRO so there may be something about the registration that has made them index it differently.

Fry, well wander who her parents were? Have not come across any Fry's in the Bleaken family although I do have several including the chocolate Manufacturer owners etc on my tree connected to the Coole family via marriage.
Thank you for your help I had not come across William and Emma in 1901.

Yes I did think that but if legally would she not have changed her surname to Pinnegar? maybe they just fostered her but did notice Gwendoline is using the family surname in 1911.

Well we do have a mystery here. It now looks as if her mother was not married and the Pinnegar's fostered her. Again no Cooks in the family that I know of.

The only other reason I can think of Frederick is not the father? so Rosina gave the baby away but its only guessing. Glad Gwendoline has been found, but also where did Fry come into it

Can find Emma's baptism in Hawkesbury and two of her Pinnegar Children
(Frederick in Chipping Sodbury Margaret in Cromhall) but nothing for Gwendoline Cook or Fry ???

Thank you for all your help. But one thing leads to another Frederick William Bleaken and Emma Bleaken share the same Great Grand parents x 2 Thomas and Catherine Bleaken so looking at births and baptisms etc for Frederick's line.
