I am looking for information about the children of Evan James Thomas and Mary Jane Stevens married one 1880 in Victoria. What happened to Jean Elizabeth Catherine Frances Thomas and Julia Gertrude Thomas ?.
-
What information about the couple and their origins, including their parents, is noted on their marriage cert?
You can obtain an image of that registration for $20 from the Vic BDM on special, downloadable immediately during the current covid-19 dilemma.
The Vic bdm online index has it as reference#1571.

Right, and do you have death certs for Evan and Mary? if so, what information is given there about all their offspring?

I have spent hours on the Victorian Births, Deaths and Marriages Website looking for the marriages or deaths of Jean and Julia Thomas. I have found the marriages and deaths of the other daughters, Evelyn Mary and Margaret May.
I am also looking for the deaths of Evan and Mary.
Evan James Thomas, a painter is shown on the 1926 and 1927 electoral rolls at Bassett Branxholme.

Right ....
At reply # 1 I asked about the 1880 marriage cert…. what information do you have about the births (when, where etc) of both the bride and the groom, and what names for their parents … that information can be very useful when looking through the various death indexes.

See also Riverine Grazier 20 March 1936. An Obit… It gives confirmation about her maiden name, her occupation, her child’s name and age… I have NOT typed up the child’s name, in order to respect the privacy of that person, born in NSW in the 1920s.

edited to amend incorrect information ... struck through Bathurst, replaced it with Junee.
-
An official transcription of the 1925 NSW marriage will likely show if Julia's parents were known to be deceased at that time.
