please can anyone help at all im just on my first step to looking for info, they were in nsw australia, just stubled on this page looking up a different name,
as far as i know they got divorced i have not much other info, may be that rita married a tucker ?? unsure and also they had a son, but they are listed as my m others parents, if anyone can help me at all ill be rapt please

hi thank you, i litrally have no idea who her folks were, i do not no anything her name and alfreds are on the birth certificate of patricia nestor heath, have no other info on rita, or patricia tho patrcia is buried in geelong
she wa a state ward in a girls home apparently adopted by rita and alfred before then, i have no idea of either womens beggings, or anything on patricia except her life as an adult in nz

Th divorce file usually contains a marriage certificate including parents details and other valuable information, children etc.
You could put a request for Ros to kindly add to her list the next time she is visits the Archives, to copy the divorce file, but that may take a while as the archives are closed to the public due to COVID-19

thanks so much all , this is interesting, and thanks for info on marriage rita is been hard to find info on very very hard, trying to find where patricia nestor heath fits in saw an article but sadly cant fimd it saying rita and sydney only had oen child a son, yet they are listed as parents for patricia, cant find any info on her , shes buried in geelong, did grow up in state girls home, have no other info, but i do known her adult yrs in nz after she married etc just nothing at all on early yrs, some of you is amazing thank you

Hello from Geelong Australia.
I have been reading up on the site to do my my birth mother Patricia nestor heath to find out more on her mother. i was reading a post someone posted who had no idea that Rita had another child.
I was giving up for adoption when i was born in 1958 by Patricia. I got to meet her when i was 35 years old in geelong and sadly not long after she passed away. I am the oldest of 10 and the only one giving up for adoption as she married later.
I am interested in more information on Rita as i know she placed my birth mother in a government home and i would love to know why she did that. Patrica had a sad up bring i was told right before she died .
