Title: Coroners' Inquests
Post by: wayne69 on Monday 27 April 20 19:36 BST (UK)
Hello,
Today, I received a death certificate from Hawaii. The death occurred in 1923 and there was a coroner's inquest. The basic details are given on the certificate but, I'm sure more detailed information can be obtained from an inquest. Does anyone know if records of inquests were kept and where I might access them?
                       Many Thanks

Inquests were sometimes covered by the newspapers.  Have you searched for it there?  If not, would you consider giving us the name so someone with access to Hawaiian newspapers can take a look?
