Little bit of a puzzle.
Arthur was the son of John Martin born abt 1866, as it states on his marriage to Annie Maria Tew (of Leire) on the 26 Aug 1897.
I just can't seem to find any census record for the couple after this date.
Two possible wildcards for children's births Martin/Tew show as a Richard Basil Martin in 1901 Middlesex, and a daughter Hilda M Martin in 1913 at Stafford.
I did a search for Arthur and Annie 1901 and 1911 and nothing coming up saying born in Leicester
I am a little lost on this couple. Any keen eyes out there?

A Richard Basil Martin Age 25 married in Liverpool 1927
Says his father is William Martin, a soldier, deceased.

The M in Hilda is MAY
-
The marriage:
Sep 1897 Lutterworth 7a 19
MARTIN Arthur
TEW Annie
Does the marriage cert say that she was a widow?

No, looks like that may be William Martin and Phoebe HUTT.

No both single. Annie had her father and sister as Witness.
Arthur was working as a club steward at St John's, Leicester.
From there both vanished.
Thanks I wondered about Richard Basil, didn't think he was a child to them, just a wild card search.

Arthur and Annie's ages on the marriage cert were both given as 28, so dob possibly a little older -- around 1869?
-
Did Arthur die and Annie remarry?
This is proposed as a son of Annie, as she shows as Bromley with her father and her son in 1901 census.
GRO Births March quarter 1900 Leicester

ADDED:
Raymond Hope Bromley was baptised in Ravenhead in 1904 to Walter and Annie.

Husband appears to be Walter in 1911, but her birthplace has changed, and this would be another possible son

Is it her father in 1901, as you did not specify him, and her age and birthplace have altered, so a different Annie Tew?

So are we looking for Arthur Martin b Leicestershire abt 1866 or Arthur Martin b Staffordshire 1869 as none of the details make any sense at the moment

Yes Ladyhawk, Kate/Katherine Tew is her sister. George Tew her father all of Leire, Leicester.
And Yes Arthur was a Steward according to the marriage.
So Annie Maria must of died before 1901?
I dismissed the marriage of Walter Bromley, as it said her father was deceased in 1903, Our Annie's father died in 1911.

So we can now safely say Annie died before 1901 as Arthur remarried and was living in Gravesend, Kent with new wife and sister in-law Kate Tew.
Just looking over deaths between 1897 and 1901, only one that fits at this stage is in Somerset 1898.
Thanks

I just can't seem to find any census record for the couple after this date.
What census information did you have on Arthur before this date?
You have been shown a proposed birth, in Market Harborough, making him illegitimate - so that marriage information was wrong?
He is married to Blanche in 1901 and Grace in 1911 - have you found a marriage to Blanche?
Or, is Blanche not his wife, as that is not completely specified in 1901?
Have you found a death for Blanche?
-
I thought 'Hope' was a strange middle name (son for the 'wrong' Annie?).
There is this illegitimate birth in West Bromwich, just for mis-information:
Arthur Hope Martin mmn Martin

I don't think we should assume that Annie had died. The marriage may simply have broken down; unless we can identify an obvious burial, it could be that Annie was still around, and maybe using another name.
Neither can we assume that all details on a marr cert are 100% accurate; my grannie declared her estranged father dead when she married, despite the fact that he stayed living within a couple of miles of her home, and carrying on a business in the family name, for the next 16 years!!
I can't find any marriages that fit between Arthur and Blanche, and only 1 possible between Arthur Martin and Grace Emmeline Hawkins in1904 in Kings Norton. This may not be the right Arthur Martin of course!

1904 marriage was suggested at reply 14 and reply 15 birth reg of their dau Enid (Grace Enid) mmn Hawkins posted.
M/C would be needed to confirm his father's name and if he's noted as widowed
Arthur was the son of John Martin born abt 1866, as it states on his marriage to Annie Maria Tew (of Leire) on the 26 Aug 1897.
Same as you cannot find an Arthur Martin / Blanche ? marriage between 1897 - 1904 ??? (assuming 1904 marriage is the correct Arthur Martin)
Is it possible that Blanche Martin born c1870 Leicester from 1901 census is actually Annie Maria Martin born c1869 Leire Leicester and for some reason was using a different Christian name ???
So we can now safely say Annie died before 1901 as Arthur remarried and was living in Gravesend, Kent with new wife and sister in-law Kate Tew.

If he's not married to Blanche a few other possibilities

Mar 1903 Birmingham 6d 28
Martin Annie Maria age 33 ( born 1870)
