Title: Children's or nursing homes 1939

A friend of mine has a photo of her Nanna taken in a nurses uniform in 1939, on the back of the photo it just says Cooke's 1939. My friend thinks it was taken in Shrewsbury but not sure. Can anyone shed any light on nursing homes or hospitals with this name.

You could try looking for her in the 1939 Register to find out where she was at that time.
