Hello troops trying to find offspring of a William Cecil who was born in Kenilworth, Montgomeryshire ( or Skenfrith) about 1810. He seems to have come to Australia (Melbourne) about 1853. He had a number of sons including Thomas (1839-1912), William Alfred (1843-1902), Philip (1848-1866), and Charles Henry (1852-1928) all of whom died in Victoria. Efforts thru trove have been scanty.

This death certificate will have good information about her origins, her marriage and her chidren.

WOW! Great stuff. You have all done good. This is the end of this segment. The idea was to build up a background/tree of the original William Cecil b.1810.This has been done beautifully with your assistance. Now to push on to finding a current live descendant to ask for their assistance in the Lord Burghley Thomas Cecil DNA Project thru FTDNA. With this material and Dr.Google i have been able to get a couple of possibilities. If this doesnt work then it was going to be a lot of legwork thru the generations via the Electoral Rolls. Not to mention luck.
